Here at Her Velvet Hand, your artist is just as unique as you.
When you book with us, you have the option to book with our Master Artist COURTNEY for Cosmetic Tattoo sessions, our Esthetician ERICA for NON Cosmetic Tattoo sessions and our Studio Apprentice BRI for Saline Lightening & Cosmetic Tattoo sessions. You MUST book with the individual artist with whom you would like to work.
If you do not see your preferred artist on the calendar, this means that their books are closed until they reopen the following month. You will need to return and book at a later time. Please do not book with another artist as sessions are not transferable.
Services with Erica Johnson

NOTE: For all services with Erica, a credit card is required to hold your appointment. However, a deposit is not required.

NOTE: Services with Courtney are only visible and bookable when the books are open. If/when this option is not available, that means the books are currently closed for appointments with her.
A 50% Deposit is required in order to book and confirm your cosmetic tattoo appointment. Your deposit signifies your commitment to your appointment. Your deposit will go towards the total cost of the service you have booked for. The deposit is non-refundable. If you decide to cancel your appointment, your deposit will be lost.
If you wish to reschedule your cosmetic tattoo appointment, we require 4 days notice in order to reschedule your appointment. A $75 reschedule fee will be applied after 4 days. You may reschedule your appointment ONE time before the deposit will be forfeited.
If you call to reschedule or cancel your cosmetic tattoo appointment on the day of, your deposit will be forfeited and you will be required to put down a new deposit to secure a future appointment.
Remembering and respecting the appointment time is your responsibility. If you do not show up to your appointment and no notice is given, you will be charged 100% of the appointment. This is true for all appointments at Her Velvet Hand. All services are subject to increase in price at any time. You will pay accordingly to the amount the procedure is when booked.
We understand that things can happen but unfortunately, if you show up more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, your appointment may be canceled and the deposit will be forfeited. If you are going to be late or cannot make your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible via phone. You may also be required to rebook and pay a new deposit if you wish to continue with your procedure after arriving late or providing a short notice cancellation.
If you have previous eyebrows tattooed, PLEASE email info@hervelvethand.com a clear photo of your brows and schedule a in person consultation. You MUST get an approval BEFORE booking an appointment. If you fail to do so, we will refuse service and your deposit will be forfeited because not all previous tattoo work from other artists can be fixed or covered.
All new guests will be considered as a new set of brows, even with previous tattoo work. Please book accordingly.
Are not included and will be a separate fee that ranges depending on how long after the last session is booked. Second session prices are valid 8-10 weeks after your first session only. Additional charges will apply if you book beyond this frame.
All touch ups, including Refresher appointments must be booked in person or via email at info@hervelvethand.com.
*Please note that touch up prices are for regular guests that have already had their first 2 procedures with one of our artists.
Consultations are a great way to discuss in-person your cosmetic tattoo goals. Although the first 30-45 minutes of your initial cosmetic tattoo service includes a thorough consultation done with your artist, you may schedule an additional consultation prior to booking the initial procedure to understand your goals and determine which solution is right for you. A 30-minute consultation is $50 and will be applied to the cost of your procedure. Should you decide not to move forward, the consultation fee is not refundable.
Please note: Consultations are ONLY required for those with existing microblading and/or tattoo work done by another studio/artist.
Realistic expectations are a priority here at Her Velvet Hand. Additional touch ups may be required to achieve desired results- because there are so many variables to cosmetic tattoos and healing that we cannot control. While we typically have beautiful results and happy guests, we cannot guarantee this procedure totally replaces your makeup or can be completed after 2 sessions. We also cannot guarantee how long this will last on you. Please read all our info section prior to booking. All services provided are non- refundable.
Your results are extremely dependent on how one heals and will vary with each individual guest such as: skin, blood type, lifestyle, existing hair, bone structure, any medications taken and aftercare. Specific results or color requests for tattoos are not guaranteed (especially on those with dark or cool-toned lips, problematic skin or when covering up an old tattoo.) Everyone heals and accepts the pigment differently. We provide the same service for every client but retention is dependent on your skin and lifestyle.
We reserve the right to refuse performing any services. If we feel that you are too indecisive, impulsive about your tattoo, or we deem you as unfit, the procedure will be canceled. Another deposit fee will be required if you would like to book again.
Per Texas Law, you must be 18 years or older to receive a cosmetic tattoo.
Credit Card information is required in order to reserve/schedule any services. On the day of your service, you may change which credit card you utilize for the final payment. If you cancel inside of 48 hours of your appointment, our policy is to charge 50% of the service(s) booked. If you fail to show for your appointment and do not call to inform us of the change, our policy is to charge 100% of the service(s).
We understand that things can happen but unfortunately, if you show up more than 5 minutes late to your appointment, your appointment may be canceled and/or rescheduled. If you are going to be late or cannot make your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible via phone.
As a courtesy and when you provide the appropriate communication options, we give you a reminder call, text message and/or email to confirm your appointment. As a courtesy to other guests and artists, appointments must be cancelled 48 hours in advance, otherwise 50% of the service(s) booked will be charged. If you fail to show for your appointment without cancelling, 100% of the service booked will be charged. Please know last minute cancellations and no-shows (no matter the circumstance) prevent other visitors from access to an appointment. Thank you for understanding.
In the event your artist should become ill the day of your appointment, we will make every effort to provide your service by moving your appointment to the next available day.
